Candy Cane Corner is a partnership between The Road Home, YWCA Utah, and Volunteers of America, UT. This holiday store is a great way to help make the season bright for the families our three agencies serve by providing them with a meaningful and empowering holiday shopping experience.
This year’s Candy Cane Corner will be located on the corner of 400 S and 300 E in Salt Lake City, in what used to be the Barnes Bank building. Please enter the building from the entrance on 400 S. Parking is available on Blair Street, just to the east of the building. We are open for donations 12pm-7pm Monday through Friday, and 12pm-5pm on weekends, now until December 23rd. There is a small amount of parking available for donation drop offs right in front of the building.
Parking for volunteers is located just to the east of the building on a small side street called Blair Street. You may access Blair Street from 400 South – at the end of the street is a parking lot with signs designating it for Barnes Bank and Salt Lake Roasting Company, you may park anywhere in this lot. Please DO NOT park in the several parking spots along Blair Street, please pull all the way through the street to this parking lot instead.
Each year, Candy Cane Corner helps families in need celebrate the holidays with new gifts. Parents visit the store with their case manager and select gifts for their children and themselves. For many of the families we help at Candy Cane Corner, it has been a very long time since they were last able to shop for new clothes or toys.

We hope you’ll join us at Candy Cane Corner this year as we bring holiday magic and cheer to all of the children, mothers, and fathers we serve. Thank you from The Road Home, Volunteers of America, Utah, and the YWCA.
